How Does CoolSculpting® Elite Work?

CoolSculpting® Elite works because fat cells are more sensitive to cold than other types of cells. The CoolSculpting® Elite applicator lowers the temperature enough to freeze fat cells without harming the skin. Freezing causes fat cells to crystallize, a process called cryolipolysis. Your body then identifies these crystallized fat cells as “waste” which signals your lymphatic system to carry them away. The process requires no injections or invasive measures. Your body naturally breaks down the damaged fat cells and eliminates them.
