NeoGraft NYC

State of the Art FUE

Hair loss is usually a normal component of the aging process, but it can also be due to hormonal changes and unfavorable genetics. Thankfully, Coolspa in Manhattan, New York offers an excellent solution called NeoGraft NYC, a solution so effective and safe that Dr. Rapaport himself has undergone the treatment.

The New York NeoGraft automated hair transplantation system employs the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method of hair grafting, which extracts donor hairs individually from the back of the head in groups of around 1-4 hairs and then implants them in the depleted areas of the scalp.

The FUE method provides the most natural-looking results possible, and is ideal for those who have limited donor area hair. Unlike the “strip method,” FUE has an excellent recovery time, limited numbness at the donor sites, minimal scarring, and minimal post-operative discomfort. Coolspa uses the “no-touch” approach, which maximizes the survival rate of the transplanted hairs

Dr. Rapaport’s Approach

As one of the most cutting-edge techniques for restoring hair, NeoGraft is heavily endorsed and practiced by Dr. Rapaport. In fact, for many years he has been delivering stunning results to hundreds of ecstatic patients who are now benefiting from lusher, thicker hair. Just one look at our gallery will convey what’s to be expected.

Shaveless Neograft

We are excited and thrilled to announce that our expert Neograft technicians are now offering Neograft Hair Restoration in our New York office without the need to shave the donor site! They have refined their techniques and are able to offer Shaveless Neograft. This technique is ideal for patients who simply cannot afford the downtime involved in waiting for the donor site (in the back of their head) to grow out. The technique is technically more demanding and requires a longer harvest period during the procedure. For this reason, the cost of Shaveless Neograft is greater than our traditional Neograft, which requires shaving the donor site on the day of the procedure.

Before & After

NeoGraft / Hair Restoration

The hair grows from follicles, with the blood supply nourishing each hair root individually. Hair grows in three cycles: an active phase, called Anagen; a transition phase, called Catagen; and a resting phase, called Telogen. In cases of hair loss and hair thinning, the scalps spends a shorter and shorter amount of time in the growth phase, and a longer time in the resting phase. In order to counter this pattern, NeoGraft must be applied over the course of several sessions, so as to coincide with the hair’s natural growth.

Dr. Rapaport, founder of Coolspa, before and after his Neograft procedure

Dealing with your hair loss can be a sensitive issue, which is why it’s so important to work with a provider you can trust. Dr. Rapaport creates an atmosphere of discretion and relaxation at his Manhattan offices, setting you at ease and relieving stress from the moment you walk in. You will receive a complimentary consultation session that is designed to answer all your questions and concerns in-depth, so that you might move forward through the process with confidence and excitement.

Dr. Rapaport is pleased to be one of the first providers in NYC to offer this innovative hair restoration technology, and works exclusively with the highest caliber and most gifted technicians anywhere. Mr. Tony Bernal, Coolspa’s senior NeoGraft technician, has performed well over one million follicular unit transplantations, and performed Dr. Rapaport’s procedure in April 2017.

Following your NeoGraft New York procedure, you will be able to run your fingers through your hair, go swimming, and do all the things you used to when your hair was thicker and more lustrous. Clients find that friends, family members and co-workers cannot differentiate between the transplanted hair and real hair, the transition is so seamless and realistic.

Dr. Rapaport and Smith are eager to meet with you in the privacy and comfort of his New York offices to discuss the FUE hair transplant process in detail. During this confidential session, the doctor will examine your scalp, record your medical history, review the previous hair loss treatments you may have undergone, and begin to create your personalized treatment plan that caters to your individual hair loss situation, your lifestyle, and your wishes.

If you have any images you have collected from magazines or the internet that reflect your ideal results, you can present these to the doctors during your consultation, as this will help the team to better understand your aesthetic preferences. Dr. Rapaport prides his practice on clear, articulate communication, so he is always open to your feedback and suggestions.
