Sofwave™ uses the same ultrasound energy used for body scans but is highly focused on one small area at a time, increasing the amount of energy transferred to the deep layers of your skin. This SUPERB™ (Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam) technology maximizes your results while cooling your skin to maintain your comfort.

The ultrasound energy is absorbed in the dermis as heat, stimulating fibroblast cells to increase their collagen production. The heat also causes collagen fibers in the dermis to contract, providing more lift. These improvements in collagen levels smooth and tighten your skin over time.

Your Aethos team will prepare you for your Sofwave™ treatment by applying a numbing cream. The handpiece is then moved over your skin, treating small areas at a time. People often report that each area increases in temperature until it feels hot, but the applicator moves to another area before it becomes uncomfortable. Treatment takes about 45 minutes, depending on the specific areas targeted. More advanced measures to ensure your comfort are available.

You can return to work or any other activities immediately after your Sofwave™ treatment because it comes with little to no downtime. The most downtime you might experience is redness and warmth lasting up to a few hours. These effects should not hinder your daily routine, making Sofwave™ convenient for busy people.
